Hello from Jackson Hole! I’m so excited to be spending a long weekend at a retreat in beautiful Wyoming. And while I’m thrilled to be here, I will admit that packing for this trip took a bit of extra forethought.
The weather here fluctuates quite a bit, warming up as the day goes on, and then cooling down as the sun sets in the evening. With this said, layers are crucial, as your body temp is most likely to rise and fall a time or two. Given the time we’ll be spending outside and activities we’ll partake in, getting wet is likely, so I made sure to include a number of moisture-wicking pieces as well. And because the higher elevation means stronger rays, it was super important that I packed sun protection items like a hat, sunglasses, and SPF.
Read on for the (very, very comfy) list of clothing items I brought with me, plus a few essential toiletries and pieces of gear I packed (mosquito repeller, anyone?). Do you have any upcoming trips on the horizon? If so, what are you bringing along with you?
